Mysuru, August 1:- BJP Raitha Morcha staged protest against the failure in looking after the welfare of the farmers and the anti farmer notion of the state government.
“The monsoons were good at the beginning, but it has not rained as expected in the month of July. It is the bounded duty of the chief minister Siddaramaiah to look after the welfare of the farmers. Instead of that, the government has decided to denotify 1500 lakes in the state. As it is the only Congress government left in South India, they are planning to mint as much money as possible. CM should step back from his decision to denotify the lakes and should think of filling the lakes,” said city BJP President Dr BH Manjunath.
