On the one hand, they keep chanting the ‘Rama mantra’ and on the other, they are not able to protect women. They are encouraging a rowdy culture in the state.”

Ugrappa said, “According to the Constitution, it is the duty of the state government to protect people. The committee will study the case. I will be meeting Mysuru Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta, visiting the concerned police station and the hospital. I can tell you the details later.”
