Mysuru, November 21:- “The state government should take stringent action against the anti-social elements,” said Congress MLA UT Khader.
He was speaking after visiting Columbia Asia Hospital in the city where he inquired about the health of Narasimharaja Constituency MLA Tanveer Sait on Thursday.
“Special prayers from all the communities are being held for the speedy recovery of the legislator. His health is recovering. He has expressed his willingness to take part in the development works of his constituency. I didn’t go to speak to him, but just saw him. Government should probe and apprehend the accused who were behind this brutal attack on Sait and take stringent action. If public representatives are being attacked, what will be the plight of common man? People’s representatives should get proper protection,” he said.
“People will vote for Congress party to emerge victorious in all the 15 constituencies in the state by-elections. Supreme Court of India has upheld the then speaker Ramesh Kumar’s decision to disqualify Karnataka MLAs. Voters of their respective constituencies should decide to vote against them to protect the name and fame of Karnataka,” he added. (KS, NGB)
