Mysuru, July 9:- Mysuru City and Rural Congress staged a protest on Tuesday, saying the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is resorting to horse-trading to destabilise the government in Karnataka.
The protesters gathered near Gandhi Square and shouted slogans against BJP. They said that the political happenings in the state are engineered by BJP and is forcing Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) MLAs to resign through money and political power.
Congress District Committee president R Murthy, Dr BJ Vijay Kumar, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath, campaign committee chairman Dr MK Ashok, Puttaswamy, Dhanapal, Nagaraj and others were present. (MR/KS)
