Karnataka is doing well in controlling coronavirus; we don’t need certificate from Cong leaders: Minister KS Eshwarappa

Mysuru, May 21:- “Karnataka has succeeded in controlling coronavirus pandemic. The entire nation is appreciating our efforts,” said Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K S Eshwarappa.

He was speaking to media in the city after visiting Suttur Mutt on Thursday.

“Opposition parties are taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but the entire world is appreciating him. We don’t need a certificate from Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar,” he said.

“If we are doing good work, people will notice it. Narendra Modi has announced a special package. This will give job guarantee for 150 days instead of the earlier hundred days. If they have to criticise and it gives them happiness, let them continue to do so. Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar consider it as their only duty to stage protests. Siddaramaiah is unfit to be the leader of the Opposition. Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar staged a protest without taking permission. Siddaramaiah speaks of the Constitution whole day and violates the rules,” he said.

“Now they are opposing the APMC Act amendment and appointing an administrative committee to village panchayat. Criticisms should be constructive. This amendment gives farmers the right to sell their crops wherever they want. Farmers are not opposing this amendment. Congress leaders want to satisfy their party leader Sonia Gandhi,” he added.
