Mysuru, November 21:- The posters and pamphlets for State-level Brahmins’ conference to be held at Kundapur on December 28 and 29 was released by state president of the Brahmins’ Association, KN Venkatanarayan at Krishnamurthypuram in the city on Wednesday.
“Brahmin community is facing enough challenges these days. Everyone is losing their existence in their field. The community is being labelled as a developed community and is deprived of any government jobs and other benefits. When HD Kumaraswamy was the chief minister, he had introduced development board for the community. But the present state government has done nothing to the board,” he said.
“State government should appoint office-bearers to the board as soon as possible and Brahmins should be provided with caste certificates. Transportation, accommodation and food facility will be provided to all the community members who attend the conference. For more details, call cell: 99452 66832,” he added.
