Mysuru, October 10:- There were days when students had very few opportunities to realise their dreams. It is a different scenario now. Students get lot many chances but unfortunately, lack will power to succeed,” said Kannada actor Mandya Ramesh here on Tuesday.
He was speaking after inaugurating inter-collegiate literary and cultural events organised by student welfare department at Humanities auditorium of Manasagangotri on Tuesday.
“Even though the opportunities were limited, students had the will power to achieve earlier. Though there are 400 colleges affiliated to UoM, only 42 colleges are participating in the competition. In the coming days, all the colleges should participate. Students should learn the ideologies of Gautham Buddha, Basavanna, Dr B R Ambedkar and Kuvempu while studying,” he said.
Actress Shwetha Changappa, registrar of evaluation, Prof Somashekar, director of student welfare department, Benjamin, Rudraiah and others were present. (MR/BM).
