Students’ march to create awareness on road safety

Mysuru, February 11:- Students of Avila School put in all the efforts to create awareness among the public regarding wearing helmets while riding as part of 30th National Road Safety Week on Saturday.

The event was organised by Exide Life Insurance in association with the city traffic police department. More than 30 students of Avila School gathered at K R circle and explained how mishaps can be avoided by wearing helmets. They shouted slogans to highlight the importance of helmets. They held a march through major streets wearing helmets. Sindhu, a student of the school, said that two-wheeler riders can save their lives and money by wearing helmets while riding.

Corporator Prameela Bharath, general manager of Exide Life Insurance, Nagendra Kumar, ACP Mohan, inspector Suraj were present. (MR/KS).
