Mysuru, September 5:- CITU, AIKS and AIAWU are jointly supporting the Mazdur Kisan Sangharsha Rally to be held in front of the parliament in New Delhi. The event was held at Ramaswamy circle in the city on Wednesday.
The supporters of the rally alleged that the policies of the central government have ruined the lives of daily wage workers and the labour class. They said that only 0.1% of the population has gained from the policies of the Centre and not the general public. They alleged the central government is pro-corporate and said it has waived off loans of the corporates to the tune of Rs 2.5 lakh crore.
They said that the labours are being assaulted. “Laws are amended to favour the owners. Public sector industries are being privatised. Petrol diesel prices are increasing every day. Dr Swaminathan Commission report has not been implemented.” (MR/KS).
