Supporters of BJP leader Nanjundi decry allegations against him

Mysuru, June 3:- State secretary of Akhila Karnataka Vishwakarma Mahasabha, Shivabasavachari has asked Mysuru District Vishwakarma Yuva Jagruti Vedike, Kendaganna to apologise for his statement against the president of Akhila Karnataka Vishwakarma Mahasabha and BJP state vice president K P Nanjundi. He warned of intense protests if he doesn’t apologise while addressing a press meet at Mysuru Press Club on Wednesday.

“Nanjundi has been working for the welfare of the community. He succeeded in starting the Vishwakarma Welfare Board after continuous requests to the government. He succeeded in making the government observe Amarashilpi Jakanachari Jayanti by organising a march from Hassan to Belur Chennakeshava Temple. Allegations against Nanjundi are nothing but an exhibition of foolishness. We have also filed a police complaint against Kendaganna,” he added.

Sowbhagyamma, Lokeshachari, Siddappaji and others were present. (MR/KS)
