“Man should cautiously lead his/her life as our lives is not permanent on earth, death follows us like a shadow in our daily lives,” said Suttur Seer Shri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji.
He was speaking at Kempanapalya village in the taluk on Saturday after inaugurating a Basaveshwara temple office building.
“To inculcate discipline and faith among humans, temples are God’s constructions and we must worship the Almighty who provides everything for us,” opined Swamji and added that a person who doesn’t believe in God will certainly go astray; where there is truth God is always there.”
Shri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji pointed out that “the people who live in forest areas still worship trees, water and air as Goddess. Hence, their health is better than those living in the cities.”
Tumakuru Siddaganga Mutt Seer Siddalinga Swami, Dr S Shivarajappa, retired lecturer, University of Mysore; Vatal Simhasana Mutt Seer Siddalinga Shivacharyaswamy also spoke on the occasion.
