ABVP students held protest against the state government and home ministry for not taking action against the Amnesty International India and the United Theological College on Wednesday.
ABVP has condemned the act of police for restricting the protest where they were urging the government to arrest those who shouted anti-nation slogans on Tuesday.
“Those who shouted anti-nation slogans and are trying to break the integrity of the nation must be arrested. Strict action has to be taken against the management of The United Theological College. The case must be hand over to the national investigation bureau and Amnesty International India must be banned in the country and its members must arrested and questioned,” demanded ABVP activists.
National general secretary Vinay Bidare, District convenor Shivkumar, City secretary Manoj, executive member Rakesh and others were present.
