Minister Tanveer Sait isn’t quitting Congress: KPCC member Aleem

Mysuru, February 7:- “Reports saying Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait is planning to quit the Congress to join Janata Dal (Secular) are far from the truth and baseless. Media published the report without consulting the minister or any concerned authorities,” said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) member and Wakf Board Advisory Committee vice-president K Mohammed Akbar Aleem at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Wednesday.

“Miscreants are spreading rumours as the minister is close to the Chief Minister. His grandfather Sattar Sait, father Azeez Sait and his family have served the constituency for more than a century. He will not change his constituency for any reason. Tanveer Sait brought transparency in the education system and SSLC and PUC examinations. He will neither quit the Congress nor change his constituency,” Aleem added.

Ejaj Pasha, Arif, Anwar Pasha and others were present. (MR/KMR).
