‘Tare Zameen Par’ – painting competition for specially-abled children

Mysuru Amity Round Table 156, the Mysuru chapter of Round Table India and Mysore Amity Ladies Circle 108, organised ‘Tare Zameen Par’, an exclusive painting event for specially-abled children on the occasion of Children’s Day. K Mahesh, range forest officer, presided over the event.

Speaking about the initiative, Kiran Ranga, Chairman, Mysore Amity Round Table 156, said: “Every child is special and is blessed with unique skills. However, the potential of differently-abled kids goes unnoticed. The idea behind ‘Tare Zameen Par’ is not only to provide a platform but also to showcase their talent and make them feel one amongst us and bring them to the mainstream.”
