Telugu Samskruthika Samithi celebrates Ugadi with gusto
Durmukhi nama Ugadhi Celebrations 2016 by the Telugu Samskruthika Samithi (TSS) was held with pomp and splendour at Veene Sheshanna Bhavan recently.
The programmes included the customary Panchanga Shravanam highlighting the significance of Ugadi by Prof Harinath, mimicry and ventriloquism by artist of international fame V P Srinivasa Rao from Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh), classical dance performances by Arya Vaishya Sangam of T Narasipura, and film songs recital by members was well received by the audience.
Over 300 members participated including eminent personalities such as Shriyuth J Bapuji, M Venkatasubbaiah, Purna Chandra Reddy, Doraiswamy Raju, Rami Reddy (all builders), Rajendra, Jayaram (leading Hoteliers) and many others apart from families of employees of RBI, RMP, banks, business community, industrialists from Mysuru.
Dr L Jaganmohan Rao, President of TSS announced that with the overwhelming response of its members by way of donations, the Samithi has decided to go ahead with the foundation laying ceremony on April 22 at 10.48 am in Vasu Layout and requested all the members to attend the function.
