Mysuru, July 11:- The street behind the Srikanteshwara Temple in Nanjangud, which leads the devotees to Kapila River, has no street light. The devotees struggle to pass through the road.
The road got completely damaged last year. Later, it was transformed into a concrete road. Even after 4 months of the road work, the electric poles have not been equipped with street lights. As devotees go to the river from 3 am in the morning during full moon day, they are finding it difficult to walk in the dark. Residents of Kurubageri also use the road to reach their houses. That there is no street light, it comes as a blessing in disguise for chain-snatchers. (MR/KS).
