Temple tragedy: Health officer gives info on patients

Mysuru, December 18:- District health officer Dr Basavaraj on Monday gave details of the patients who are being treated at different Mysuru hospitals after consuming poisonous food at Sulvadi Maramma temple last week.

“Around 101 patients are being treated in the city. Of that, 45 are in ICU and 56 in general wards. Around 24 patients are on ventilators and 3 are in critical condition. Patients are who have been admitted to 11 hospitals. Around 24 patients are being treated at K R Hospital, 12 at BGS Apollo Hospital, 15 at JSS Hospital, 6 at Gopala Gowda Hospital, 14 at Suyog Hospital, one at Bhanavi Hospital, four at Narayana Hrudayalaya, six at St Joseph’s Hospital and 2 at Brindavana Hospital.
