Teresian Cricket and Kabaddi Academy concluded its annual summer coaching camps recently. The Academy conducted one and half months of coaching for boys and girls. The camps were organised in association with the Department of Physical Education, University of Mysore.
The chief guest of the programme, Dr. Krishnaiah P, director (In-charge) Department of Physical Education, UOM said that parents should not just stress on academics but should also give equal importance to extra- curricular activities like sports. He encouraged students to take up a sport as it plays an important role in one’s life. He also stressed on the need for practicing regularly and being punctual for practice.
Rev Sr Anjali, Superior, Rev Sr Sjitha, Director, Teresian Institutions, presided the programme, Prof Jose V Dr Mansoor Ahamed, Cricket Coach, UOM and Teresian Cricket Academy and Ravi, Kabaddi Coach, Teresian Kabaddi Academy, were present.
The programme was co-ordinated by Anthony Moses, Physical Education Director, Teresian College.
