Mysuru, June 13:- The real test begins now. With the cabinet expansion set to take place tomorrow, all eyes will be on the coalition partners, Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) who have a lot of problems in their basket already.
There are many aspirants from both parties. There are two strong candidates from this part of the state. Former minister Tanveer Sait is in the race for ministry from Congress and there are questions if he will be considered.
He was a strong contender last time too when the coalition government was formed. He is hoping he will be lucky this time.
Hunsur JD(S) MLA and former minister AH Vishwanath is also staking a claim for a berth. After stepping down as the state president of the party, he had said he does not mind joining the Kumaraswamy government if given a chance. Given his equation with former chief minister Siddaramaiah, he has a huge hurdle to cross to become a minister. (MR/KS)
