Thailand visa on arrival gets cheaper

Prime News, International and National, Travel, New Delhi, November 7:- Going to Thailand for less than a fortnight will get cheaper this winter for Indian holidayers.

The southeast Asian tourist magnet has waived visa on arrival (VoA) fee of Baht 2,000 (about Rs 4,440) from December 1 to January 31, for visitors from 21 countries, including India, China and Taiwan, who will not stay in the country for more than 15 days, agency reports quoted the Thai government spokesman as saying.

“About 12 lakh Indians went to Thailand last year, a growth of about 11% from the previous year,” said travel portal Yatra COO Sharat Dhall. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
