Mysuru, March 2:- Congress MLA and former minister D K Shivakumar on Sunday responded to media over the alleged report of native Congressmen complaining against former chief minister Siddaramaiah to party high command.
“There is no discrimination between native Congressmen and newcomers in the Congress. We have not made any such brands in Congress. It was all created by media,” he said.
“We can’t believe our own shadow in politics. People are changing political parties at will. Let’s see what is in store for the future. I don’t know about the appointment of Karantaka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president and office-bearers. I am a Congress party worker. I will do my work honestly. I don’t know anything else. You can ask the party high command or Dinesh Gundu Rao,” he added.
Responding to the allegations of Basanaguwda Patil Yatnal against freedom fighter HS Doreswamy, he said everyone knows the culture of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and added that the such statements are because of the books they have read and opined it can’t be changed. He said he had also filed a complaint against the one who spoke badly against him and said the case is still in the court. (MR/KS)
