“There is no problem or misunderstanding among BJP party workers. The selection of office bearers is left to the decision of high command. The selection will be done giving preference for all the communities in accordance with social justice,” said taluk BJP president Kinakahalli Prabhuprasad. He was addressing the media held at Yalandur.
“On Sunday, some party workers went on to abuse the district BJP president Prof K M Mallikarjunappa and accused that the native BJP members are cheated. The list of office holders is not yet announced and how can there be any injustice? Few party members have done this because of some personal reasons. But there is no misunderstanding among the members of the party,” he said.
“Former MLA G N Nanjundaswamy, A R Krishnamurthy, Chandrakalabai, Sarvesh Basavaiah and others are waiting for party ticket to contest in the state assembly election. But the party workers will work for the candidate who is selected by the high command and the selection will be done according to the party workers’ opinion. If anyone is found involved in anti-party activities, they will be suspended from the party,” he added.
BJP leaders Sarvesh Basavaiah, Yalandur BJP vice-president Kandahalli Nanjundaswamy, taluk BJP secretary Town Mahesh, Honnur Raghavendra, Agara Raju, Duggahatti G Mahesh and others were present.
