As a part of cleaning campaign, Deputy Commissioner D Randeep, S P Ravi D Channannavar, ASP Kala Krishnamurthy, Mayor B L Bhyrappa, MCC Commissioner J Jagadeesha and other officials carried out the cleaning campaign at the premises of the police quarters, Jyothi Nagar on Saturday morning.
“It is the duty of every household to keep their premises clean. If everyone works in order to keep their premises clean, the city will become clean automatically. The police officials work day and night to keep the society clean, it is the responsibility of their families to keep their premises clean,” said Channannavar.
He urged the youth take active participation to clean the society and the system. “Mysuru has been awarded as the cleanest city of the country and the responsibility to maintain the tag is on our shoulders,” he stressed.
The team visited the pay and use toilet on Bannur Road and inspected the maintenance of it. They instructed the health officer to visit the pay and use toilets in the city and to inspect the cleanliness and the water supply of the rest rooms.
