Thieves make good with car at Kadakola

Mysuru, January 17:- Robbery incidents are increasing in and around the city. After three people were robbed on the pretext of being dropped on the same day, miscreants robbed a car by spraying pepper spray on the face of the driver, who was coming from Kerala at Kadakola on Nanjanagudu highway.

Jaffer of Calicut lost his car. He was returning after dropping passengers from Kerala to Bengaluru. Around 7-8 people in a Toyota Innova car robbed his 2014 Toyota Etios car.

He said that the robbers stopped the car near the railway under the bridge and sprayed pepper spray and escaped with the car. He said that the car had Rs 8,000 in the dashboard. He said that the robbers were aged about 25-30 years and said he could not identify the number of their car. Sub-inspector Vanaraj and staff have continued the investigation. (MR/KS).
