“There is one man in the world who thinks he can do what he wants to do. He is most determined and dedicated, and that man is none but you. These thoughts of Swami Vivekananda have inspired many people’s lives,” said Dr K Raghavendra Pai, visiting Professor, Swami Vivekananda Research Centre, Department of Studies in Philosophy, University of Mysore.
He was addressing a gathering at the seminar on Swami Vivekananda held at Seminar Hall, Philosophy department, University of Mysore, on Friday.
After inaugurating the programme, he said: “The goal is a long-time process which we need to take care of with the accomplishment of short-term goals. If one can set up their short-term goals with their accomplishment, then it is much easier to achieve our life-time goals. These are the values that have been taught by Swami Vivekananda and this has to be sincerely followed by us in order to achieve our goals.”
Professor Daniel and Venkatesh of Philosophy department were present on the occasion.
