Thousands of animal lovers witness National Championship Dog Show in city

Mysuru, October 30:- A National Championship Dog Show was held at Bharat Scouts and Guides Ground in the city on Sunday. Thousands of animal lovers thronged the venue to have a glimpse of the pedigree dogs.

MLA Vasu inaugurated the show.

280 dogs of various breeds participated in the show this year.

Newfoundland, Goldern Retriever, Tibetan Bully, Afghan Hounds, American Pitbull, St Bernard, Mudhol Hounds, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Great Dane, Miniature Pinscher and other breeds of dogs took part in the dog show.

The national championship was organised for the first time in Mysuru under the auspices of Canine Club of Mysuru.

Lok Sabha member Pratap Simha, Canine Club of Mysore president B P Manjunath, former Parliamentarian Tejeswani Sriramesh, former Mysuru Urban Development Authority chairman L Nagendra and others were present.
