Three drown in Kabini backwaters
Mysuru, April 26:- Father and his two children drowned in Kabini backwaters at Goluru near Karnataka and Kerala border on Wednesday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Chalakal Baby (53), his son Ajith (24) and daughter Anita (18) of Kabinigiri of Kerala. When Anita, who was taking a dip in the backwaters, started drowning, her father and brother tried to save her but both drowned eventually.
The incident took place at Pulpalli station limits of Kerala. Police visited the spot and are searching for the bodies. (MR/KS).
