Tibetans launch mass saplings drive in Bylakuppe

CST Bylakuppe,  members of parliament in Tibetan government in exile and other dignitaries conducted a mass sapling plantation programme by distributing saplings.

The mass plantation drive at the school was arranged in collaboration with the Range Forest Office Periyapattana.

Mingyur Dorjee, former cabinet secretary of Tibetan government in exile and Member of Parliament in Tibetan government in exile, thanked the central government and Indian teachers for the assistance extended to Tibetan people and their children. Sh Konchok Yarphel, Member of Parliament, Tibetan government in exile, called upon the students to get educated for the benefit of the community.  Mingyur Dorjee launched the mass plantation drive by distributing saplings to school captains and class monitors.

Konchok Yarphel, MP, Tsering Tashi, settlement officer, Tensin Phuntsok. Dignitaries and the principal of the school C Raveendran planted saplings at the school campus and the students took pledge to plant saplings. P L Ramanna, the Deputy Range Forest Officer and others were present.
