Mysuru, September 2:- In connection with the death of a tiger, the Forest Department sleuths have arrested one more man who was the run.
The death of a tiger was reported in the Nagarahole Tiger Sanctuary recently. One of the two was arrested last week while the second man was on the run. Vattangadi Raju, the miscreant, was nabbed at KSRTC bus terminal in Ramanagara. Based on his information, the police have recovered four tiger nails and 32 teeth from an estate in Kodagu district.
After killing the tiger at Thattikere Hadi of Kallahalla in Nagarahole region, the duo had escaped with tiger nails and teeth. The police are on the lookout for two more people, informed Tiger Conservation Director Mahesh Kumar. (MR/KS)
