Mysuru, July 31:- Here is some good news for animal lovers. Close on the heels of the World Tiger Day, a recent survey announced that the tiger population in Nagarahole and Bandipur forests, has increased.
According to the 2014-15 survey, there were 8 tigers every 100 km. According to the recent studies, 27 tigers were found in every 100 km. The awareness campaigns, increase in forest area, has contributed in tiger population increase, officials said. (MR/KS).
