Mysuru, October 1:- “Tourists and visitors who visit Bannimantap to witness torchlight parade must follow the instructions given by the police,” said the commissioner of police, KT Balakrishna.
“While entering the palace and Bannimantap, visitors have to enter from the prescribed gates. They have to co-operate with security staff and follow instructions. They have to pass through the metal detector. People are not allowed to carry weapons, glass bottles and big bags. If anyone finds unauthorised bags, toys and other things, the public should immediately inform the police. Bringing tobacco products, matchbox, crackers and lighters are also prohibited. The public have to park their vehicles where the traffic police instruct them to park. Do not wear gold ornaments while visiting palace and Bannimantap,” he added. (MR/KS).
