Mysuru, October 26:- In a move to streamline the traffic system in the growing heritage city, Mysuru City Police has formed a Traffic Advisory Committee.
Traffic Advisory Committee will seek suggestions from the general public to ensure congestion-free traffic movement.
The committee is headed by Commissioner of Police Dr A Subramanyeshwara Rao and the vice-chairman of the committee will be Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime and traffic) Dr Vikram Amte.
The committee has planned to hold ‘Traffic Adalat’ on the last Saturday of every month to get opinions and suggestions from the general public. As part of this the first adalat will be held on October 28 at 9:30 am at Police Bhavan here.
In a press release, the police have appealed the public to attend the event and give suggestions.
