Traffic curbs in Mysuru ahead of counting of votes tomorrow

Mysuru, May 14:- As the counting of votes will be carried out at two centres in the city tomorrow (Tuesday), the movement of vehicular traffic has been restricted near the counting centres and accordingly the traffic will be diverted, stated a press release from the Office of the Commissioner of Police here.

Counting of votes will be undertaken at NIEIT College near Koorgalli Industrial Area and at Maharani’s Commerce and Management College on Valmiki Road in the city, the traffic movement will be restricted near these counting centres from 6 am to 10 pm tomorrow.

“There will be a complete ban on vehicular movement on Valmiki Road, Adipampa Road, Mathrumandali Circle, Paduvarahalli traffic light junction to Kalamandir, St Joseph’s Institutions on Hunsur Road to Paduvarahalli traffic light junction, in and around Kalidasa Road and in and around Maharani’s Commerce and Management College,” the press release stated.

In view of the traffic restrictions, the vehicle users have been advised to take alternate roads in and around NIE IT College as vehicular movement will be banned on KIADB High Tension Double Road near KRS Road.
