Tripurasundari Temple closed for devotees

Mysuru, July 13:- The devotees have been instructed not to visit the ancient temple of Goddess Tripurasundari at Muguru village in T Narasipura as coronavirus cases are increasing in the taluk.

Muguru village has already undergone self-lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus. As a measure of precaution, the temple is closed for devotees.

Hundreds of visitors from T Narasipura and other parts of the district visit the temple every day to seek blessings from Goddess. But the temple doesn’t have the equipment to conduct a check-up of the visitors. Due to this, the temple is closed for the devotees. The rituals at the temple are held as usual. (MR/KS)
