Mysuru, May 24:- Seth Mohan Tulasidas CMH Hospital is getting ready for use by pregnant Covid patients and should be operational in a day or two, said Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha here on Monday (May 24).
An oxygen concentrator provided by Bengaluru South Lok Sabha member Tejasvi Surya and 100 masks donated by Raghulal Medicals’ Raghavan were handed over to the hospital by Simha and Mysuru Urban Development Authority chairman H V Rajeev on the occasion.
Speaking to reporters later, Simha said, “After Cheluvamba Hospital chief Dr Sudha complained that it was getting tough to handle labour cases, we decided to ready the Tulasidas Hospital for pregnant women who have been affected by the coronavirus.”
The MP said, ”Rajeev’s response was spontaneous as he readily agreed for it. Tulasidas Hospital is ready now and I would like to thank Rajeev.”
Madeswamy, who has taken the responsibility for the ambulance service and Appanna, who will be shouldering the final rites rituals if there is a death, were present. (MR/KS)
