Tunnel testing work for Bullet train begins

Prime News, National, Mumbai. December 20:- Japanese and Indian professionals have started the tunnel testing work for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet train.

The service is also proposed to have a tunnel that will run through 508 km, of which 21 km will be under sea.

The cost of the tunnel is estimated at Rs 3,500 crores. Once the tunnel testing is finished, the designing work will kick-off.

The managing director of National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) Achal Khare said that under the sea tunnel may finish completion by August 15, 2022.
