TV journalist Roshan Dias succumbs to Covid-19

Prime News, National, Health, Disease, Mumbai, May 23:- Roshan Dias (46), a journalist of the electronic media in Mumbai, passed away on Friday (May 22) due to coronavirus infection.

He is survived by his wife and two children. Dias was employed in TV9 Marathi channel in Mumbai. Earlier he had worked in Star News.

Dias along with 170 other journalists had undergone testing for coronavirus in April. As many as 53 media personnel from Mumbai had tested positive for coronavirus. Dias had also tested Covid-19 positive and was quarantined in isolation ward and later succumbed to the virus when he was being treated in ICU.
