Two houses burgled in Mysuru; thieves decamp with gold jewels worth Rs 4 lakh

Mysuru, July 02:- In a two separate incidents, burglars have broke into locked houses and have decamped with gold ornaments worth over Rs 4 lakh in the city.

In a burglary case reported at Lashkar Police Station jurisdiction in the city, burglars have broke into a locked house near KR Hospital main road during daylight and have made away with gold jewellery worth Rs 3.84 lakh.

According to a complaint filed by Suresh, the incident has taken place on Saturday between 11:15 am and 3:45 pm when he had gone out for work.

Meanwhile in another incident, the burglars have decamped with jewellery after breaking into a house in RMP Layout at Vijayanagar.

According to a complaint filed by Vedavathi, the burglars have broke the backdoor of the house and have made away with a gold chain, gold earrings, silver bowl and key chain, and a 28 inches LED TV.

Vijayanagar Police have registered a complaint. Investigations are on.-KK
