Instead of helping the injured, people were seen video shooting the while the boys suffered

A road accident early on Friday morning injured three youth from Mysuru. Injured have been identified as Prajwal, a resident of K G Koppal, Prashanth D’Souza of Aravindanagar and Gagan of Basaveshwaranagar. They had been to Chamundi Hills to offer prayers on the birthday of their friend, Vijay.

While returning from the hills, the three were triple-riding. At a curve, another bike which was going uphill collided with them. Due to the impact, the three youth feel off their bike.  Prajwal suffered head injuries while the other two sustained minor injuries. Instead of coming to the rescue of those injured in the accident, many people were busy video-shooting the accident.

MLA Somashekhar, who was on the spot for his morning walk, saw the boys and immediately called for his car and the boys were taken to JSS Hospital. Later, he requested the citizens not to stay and watch or take visuals of the victims’ suffering in an accident. Instead they should be taken to a hospital immediately for medical aid. No legal problems will have to be faced for helping such victims, he assured.

A complaint has been registered at the Sidharthanagar police station. Vehicles have been ceased.
