Two-wheeler thieves nabbed

Mysuru, July 23:- Saraswathipuram Police have arrested two two-wheeler thieves in the city. The arrested have been identified as Mani, 19, of Manganapalya of Bengaluru and Punith,19, of Bandepalya. Police have seized two-wheelers worth Rs 1.55 lakh and nine cell phones from the arrested.

They had stolen a two-wheeler parked in front of a shop at KG Koppal here using duplicate keys. They were caught by police who were checking vehicles near Saraswathipuram swimming pool on Sunday.

Inspector PD Dhanaraj, PSI Amil Kumar, Bhavya, staffs Suresh Babu, Basavaraje Urs, Mahadev, HV Manjunath, Harish and RN Nagesh took part in the operation. (MR/KS)
