UGC grants permission for 14 more courses at KSOU: VC Prof Shivalingaiah

October 20 is the last date to enroll for all 31 courses at KSOU

Mysuru, October 4:- “The date for admission to various courses in Karnataka State Open University has been extended. Along with the earlier permitted 17 courses, the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, has granted permission to start 14 more courses,” said Vice Chancellor of KSOU Prof D Shivalingaiah at a press meet held at KSOU in the city on Thursday.

“Admission is open for various courses till October 20. BA, MA and other courses are available for candidates. As we didn’t receive enough admissions, we have extended the last date for admissions by another 20 days. 8,395 students have already enrolled for 17 courses. UGC has granted permission to start BEd, MBA and 14 other courses. October 20 is the last date to enroll for all 31 courses. Admission will be open for BEd and MBA from January,” he added. (KS, NGB)
