Cycling into the nature is a unique experience. More than 900 cyclists have been experiencing this since nine years. The unique cycling rally, Tour of Nilgiris (TFN), is reaching a decade in December 2017. The year 2017 is also a special year in the history of cycle as it is the 200th year of cycle’s invention.
Ride a Cycle Foundation (RCF) is organising the 10th year rally from December 10 to December 17. The selected cyclists will ride more than 1000 kilometres in the rally. The rally which commences at Bengaluru will go through Mysuru, Madikeri, Sulthan Bathery, Ooty and will culminate at Mysuru. The rally will pass through coffee estates, hills and downs, tea estates and 3 wildlife sanctuaries.
The registration for the rally will commence from May 1. The rally will include maximum of 120 cyclists. The final list will be prepared based on the profile, fitness of the candidates.
Cycle rally TFN has become the most popular cycle rally in India. It is attracting cyclists from various parts of the country.
