UoM: Admission for UG, PG courses under ODL mode extended to Jan 19

Mysuru, January 17:-Directorate of Distance Education, University of Mysore in a notification extended the date for admission for Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses under Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode from the eligible candidates up to January 19, 2019.

UoM offers the following UG courses under ODL mode:

Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B Com), B Sc-IT(Information Technology).

PG courses under ODL mode:

Master of Arts in Kannada, English, Economics, History Political Science, Sociology, Master of Commerce (M Com), Master of Science in Information Technology (M Sc in IT).

The application should be enclosed with the self attested copies of the relevant documents. At the time of application submission, candidates have to produce all original documents for verification. The candidates found to be eligible for admission by the respective selection committee can get admitted by paying the prescribed fee.

It is mandatory that the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe who seek admission under fee concession scheme are required to submit the necessary documentary evidence along with online enrolment number by enrolling themselves in a relevant web portal of the Government through online. However, if the online web portal of the Government is not functioning, the candidates are allowed to take provisional admission by paying the mandatory fee

of Rs 1000. Such is the case, the candidates have to enroll once the web portal is made available and submit the online enrollment number to the office of the Director, Directorate of Distance Education. Otherwise, the candidates have to pay the remaining part of the prescribed fee.
