M Shwetha and Kruthika from Mysuru secure ranks in UPSC exam

Mysuru, April 28:- The results of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination – 2017 is out.  Around 900 people, including 26 from Karnataka have passed the exam.

M Shwetha (119 rank) and Kruthika (194 rank) from Mysuru, Pruthvik Shankar (211 rank) from Mandya and M Puneeth Kuttaiah (324 rank) from Kodagu have passed the exam. Anudeep Durishetty of Hyderabad has topped the examination. Anu Kumari and Sachin Gupta emerged 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Last year, 64 people from the state passed the examination. K R Nandini of Kolar had topped the exam.Last time, there were 30 successful candidates, with Kannada literature as optional. This time, only 2 were successful. (MR/KS)
