UPSC exams held at 16 centres in city

The national-level preliminary Civil Services Examination by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) was held at 16 centres in the city on Sunday, August 7.

Candidates attended exams in 16 centres including Maharani College, St Philomena’s College, St Joseph College, St Thomas College and CKC Convent.

District Commissioner C Shikha had imposed Section 144 to avoid mal practices. 200 meters surrounding the exam centres came under the restricted area. Police security was tightened and the DC personally visited all the centres and made sure that exams are conducted without any loopholes.
