Mysuru, October 2:- Gau Parivara Samiti of Mysuru organised a signature campaign to urge for complete ban on cow slaughter and to protect and develop Indian cattle breeds.
The campaign was held at the premises of Kote Anjaneya temple. Hundreds of members took part in the campaign.
“Cow is being worshipped over centuries. It is objectionable to kill cows. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought in ban on cow slaughter, CM Siddaramaiah too has to implement the same,” said D T Prakash, president of district Brahmin’s association.
Senior advocate Keshava, social worker Raghuram and others were present. (KS)
