Thieves burgle house at JP Nagar in Mysuru; flee with valuables

Mysuru, July 14:- Thieves managed to gain entry into a locked house by breaking the window grills and stole valuables at J P Nagar in the city here on Friday.

About Rs 70,000 cash and 1.5 kg of silver has been reportedly stolen from the residence of Shivakumar, an employee of the judicial department. Shivakumar was out of station for three days when the robbery took place. He had kept one of the windows of the house open. The thieves broke the grills to enter the house.

A complaint is filed at Vidyaranyapuram Police Station. (MR/KS).
