Vatal Nagaraj protests seeking central fund for drought

Nagaraj seeks cent per cent employment for Kannadigas in Karnataka

Mysuru, July 29:- Vatal Nagaraj of Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Party staged protest near the Mysuru Railway Station on Sunday, demanding for 100% employment for Kannadigas in Karnataka and funds from the central government for drought situation in the state.

“Karnataka politics has become the dirtiest. I have seen many great leaders in my political career of 50 years. MLAs have gone elsewhere instead of solving the problems of their voters. The Election Commission and the President of India have remained silent over this. Farmers are facing crop loss due to drought. The state has no government for two months. President’s rule should be implemented in state with immediate effect. Attempts are made to lift night traffic ban in Bandipur which is not right. Investigation should be held on this. If the state faces interim election, then I will contest from any constituency in Bengaluru,” he said. (MR/KS)
