Vidwans Raman, Vignaraja to present classical music concert on June 25-26

Sri Nadabrahma Sangeeta Sabha is conducting Vidwan T V Srinivasan Memorial Concert, and Venkatadasappa and M V Lakshmamma Memorial Concert on June 25 and 26.

On June 25, Vidwan S Saketh Raman will present a Carnatic classical vocal accompanied by Mysore V Srikanth on violin, B C Manjunath on mridanga and G Guruprasanna on Khanjira. On June 26, Vidwan Sampagodu Vighnaraja will present Carnatic classical vocal accompanied by Aditi Krishna Prakash on violin, Ranuka Prasad on mridanga and R Karthik on Khanjira.


Vidwan Saketh Raman

Vidwan Saketh Raman born in 1982 is a known performing musician of Carnatic music across the country. He is a disciple of Lalgudi Jayaraman. When he was just 6-years old, his parents introduced him to the world of music through his first guru Srirangam Krishnamurthy. To understand rhythm and perform better, he learnt the Carnatic mridangam. Raman has bagged first place in All India Competition conducted by All India Radio (AIR) in 2000. He has also secured first place in 12th standard all India exams and pursued his master’s degree in software engineering. He is an ‘A’ grade artiste of AIR and has performed in concerts all over the world.

Vidwan Sampagodu Vignaraja

Vidwan Sampagodu Vignaraja is a Carnatic musician, vocalist, flutist and music composer, a popular proponent of the legendary GNB School. He has a unique talent and a rare artiste of Carnatic classical music and has given many performances, exhibiting extraordinary skills. Besides being a highly talented vocalist, he is also an accomplished Carnatic flutist and Carnatic slide guitarist. He has headed the instrument section at Temple of Fine Arts in Kuala Lumpur for six years, conducted various workshops for students in Malaysia and Taiwan University of Technology. He is the founder Director of Surya Global Music Academy in Bengaluru and is imparting quality education in the field of music across the globe.
