Singer Vijay Prakash enthralls music-crazy audience

Mysuru, October 13:- Well-known singer from Mysuru, Vijay Prakash enthralled and made the audience go crazy with his singing at Yuva Dasara at Maharaja College Grounds on Friday night.

He offered prayers to Goddess Chamundeshwari before commencing the concert. He sang ‘Belageddu yara mukhava nodide, enammi enammi, open hair bitkondu, khali quarter bottle hange life, saluthillave’ and other songs.

Along with some of the naughty songs songs, he also presented ‘gombe heluthaithe, Om Shivoham,’ title track of ‘Magalu Janaki’ serial.

The programme which was scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm was not inaugurated even after 8:30 pm.  Actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanwi Srivathsava danced on the occasion.

Boys Zone team performed Shiva dance. A laser show was organised after the dance. The stage programme began at 9:30 pm. Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy inaugurated the Yuva Dasara. Chairperson of Infosys Foundation and Padma Shri awardee Sudha Murty, Ministers G T Devegowda, Sa Ra Mahesh, Basavaraj Horatti, Zilla Panchayat president Nayeema Sultana, Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar, Commissioner of Police Dr A Subramanyeshwara Rao, Superintendent of Police Amit Singh and others were present.

Vijay Prakash sang ‘Olitu madu manusha’ song as requested by  Kumaraswamy. The Chief Minister became emotional after listening to the song. (MR/MN).
